No. 15 Iowa State’s final game of the Players Era Festival will be against Syracuse on Wednesday at noon, the school announces.

Despite going 2-0 in the first games of the event, Iowa State misses out on the championship and third-place game due to the point differential tiebreaker.

Syracuse gets their third taste of Big 12 action this week, falling to Houston in overtime on Monday and losing to Kansas on Tuesday, 71-60.

Syracuse is led by third-year head coach Adrian Autry, who succeeded Jim Boeheim in 2023. His team is currently ranked No. 57 on KenPom.com and finished last season ranked No. 115.

The Orange’s leading scorer is sophomore forward Donnie Forward, followed by freshman guard Kiyan Anthony, the son of Carmelo Anthony.

Iowa State Athletics will release more information about the game on Wednesday morning, including the TV network.
