AMES — Iowa State Wrestling’s 2025 Media Day made one thing clear: this group is all-in on culture.
Head Coach Kevin Dresser talked about accountability, leadership, and what it takes to build a team that competes for each other, not just themselves. That message carried straight through to the athletes, including heavyweight Yonger Bastida, who’s gearing up for his return after sitting out last season with an injury.
Both spoke with confidence and focus, a reflection of where the Cyclones are mentally heading into the new year.
