After only 20 days of commitment, 2026 three-star guard Marcus Zelee announces his decommitment from Iowa State.

Zelee, a 6’2 defensive-minded guard, originally committed on July 2, less than 48 hours after receiving an offer from Iowa State.

He currently resides in Texas but Zelee is originally from Minneapolis, hence the connection with Kyle Green. Other than ISU, Zelee also has offers from Arizona State, Drake and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

With the loss of Zelee, Iowa State is down to two guards in Class of 2026, Yusef Gray Jr. and Christian Wiggins.
