J.R. Singleton has signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced Saturday.

Singleton spent five seasons with the Cyclones, and donned the No. 58 in his final season in memory of former coach Curtis Bray.

As a co-captain for the Cyclones, Singleton recorded a career-best 32 tackles in his final year and led the team with four sacks while appearing in 13 games.

It was enough for the 6-foot-2, 305-pound player to earn All-Big 12 honorable mention.

Singleton finished his career with 75 tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss and 7.5 sacks.

He appeared on both Iowa State teams that qualified for the Big 12 championship game in the Matt Campbell era.
