Iowa State wide receiver Jaylin Noel has been selected by the Houston Texans with the 79th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Noel spent four seasons in an Iowa State uniform and improved each year during his career in Ames.

The Kansas City native finished with 1,194 yards on 80 receptions with eight touchdowns during his senior year.

Noel played a major role in helping Iowa State to its first season with a double-digit win mark, a Big 12 championship game berth and a Pop Tarts Bowl win.

Noel will join a pair of other former Cyclones in the wide receiver room in Houston.

Xavier Hutchinson picked up five catches for the Texans in the 2024 playoffs, and Jayden Higgins was drafted to Houston earlier Friday night.
