Iowa State earned its seventh commitment to the 2026 recruiting class Sunday in Minnetonka, Minnesota’s Caleb Francois.

Francois plays quarterback for his high school – Minnetonka Senior – in what is rush-heavy offense.

The finished with 1,624 rushing yards last year with 24 touchdowns, while also passing for another 828 yards and eight more scores.

He was previously recruited by running backs coach Tyler Roehl at North Dakota – which was his only other offer besides Iowa State.

Francois was part of the junior days weekend the program was hosting, and commits just after picking up the scholarship offer a week ago. He does not yet have a rating from 247 Sports.

The Cyclones now have seven players committed to their 2026 class, which is on a quicker pace to be filled than the classes of the past few years.
