Iowa State added its third commitment to the transfer portal in UNI defensive lineman Cannon Butler.

Butler recorded 59 tackles and 1.5 sacks during the last season with the Panthers.

The Cyclones have targeted defensive linemen early, along with wide receivers, in the portal during its first round of visits for the cycle.

Butler was a captain for the Panthers in 2024 and took his official visit to Ames this week.
