Former Cyclone Hason Ward will be in action during next month’s NBA Summer League games taking the court for the Sacramento Kings.

Ward agreed to play with the Kings after playing for a month in the Canadian Elite Basketball League with the Scarborough Shooting Stars.

There, he averaged 5.9 points per game.

During his senior season in Ames, Ward averaged 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while helping Iowa State to its second Sweet 16 appearance in the past three years.

The Kings will kick off their Summer League schedule next Saturday, June 6, against Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers at 3:30 p.m. CT.
