Iowa State commit Alex Manske was among the top performers in Day 1 of Elite 11 action, according to 247Sports and On3 reports.
The 2025 quarterback that chose the Cyclones over Texas A&M, Kansas State and Iowa among others was mentioned in both stories from opening night.
The camp invites 20 of the top quarterbacks to compete from around the country, and although Manske came in as the lowest rated prospect with an invite, he landed in the top 11 through both outlets.

The five-sport athlete isn’t the most technically refined passer at this stage, but he’s got some natural arm talent and looks like the type of quarterback that can coordinate RPOs at a high level. He’s the ideal fit for an Iowa State program that hinges on player development.

Manske is the fifth Iowa State quarterback to compete in Elite 11, joining JJ Kohl (2022), Hunter Dekkers (2019), Re-al Mitchell (2017) and Grant Rohach (2012).
The camp continues for the next two days – June 19 and 20 – as the group competes in front of coaches in Los Angeles.
