Former Iowa State defensive back Anthony Johnson Jr. became the third Cyclone drafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, being selected by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round.

Johnson Jr. spent five seasons with the Cyclones, starting with his first year on the field in 2018.

In each season, he appeared in at least 12 games, recording 40 or more tackles in all but one.

Johnson Jr. finished with 14 career interceptions, five forced fumbles, and 243 career tackles.
