Iowa State has been welcoming visitors throughout the past 30 days as part of spring practices and opportunities for prospects to tour campus and see a practice up close.

On Saturday, the program will welcome a slew of recruits, including six from the 2024 class they have their eyes on.

Defensive lineman Terrell Spruill has a large offer sheet, containing offers from Arkansas, Tennessee, Indiana, USF, West Virginia and Florida Atlantic. The 6-foot-2, 250-pound prospect out of Florida received his Iowa State offer in February and is making the lengthy trip to Ames for the weekend.

On Wednesday, the Cyclones became the second team to offer wideout Jalen Smith, who’s only other offer comes from Kent State. The 6-foot-1 Minnesota product had 729 yards for eight touchdowns on 49 catches during his junior season.

The group will be joined, as well, by 2024 commits, Keaton Roskop and Connor Moberly.

Roskop, a tight end, picked Iowa State over Texas A&M and Moberly is a top talent in the state at the quarterback position, coming off of a state championship.

Also in attendance will be tight end Cooper Alexander. He doesn’t have a star rating on 247 Sports, but does hold offers to Colorado, Duke, Pitt, Vanderbilt, UNLV, Tulsa and Liberty. The 6-foot-4 recruit visited Ames in March and will be back Saturday.

With new offensive line coach Ryan Clanton getting into the swing of things, offensive tackle A.J. Burton will be in town. The Colorado prospect will attend Iowa State’s spring game this week before going to Oregon next week for their spring showcase.

There will be a number of other visitors in town throughout the weekend, but these are the names Iowa State is keeping a close eye on.
