Former Cyclone Brock Purdy came into relief for the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s 33-17 win over Miami, proving himself after Jimmy Garoppolo exited the game with an injury.

After Purdy threw for 210 yards, two touchdowns and a 25/37 completion mark, the 49ers announced that Garoppolo suffered a broken foot and will be out for the season.

Purdy is now QB1.
