Iowa State’s Maddie Frederick entered her name into the transfer portal on Monday afternoon, according to an announcement made over her social media accounts.

The senior participated in ceremonies during the final home game of the regular season, but will exit Iowa State with one year of eligibility remaining for her collegiate career.

Frederick, an Ohio native, was known for her energy during games and being a leader off of the floor for the Cyclones.

During her final season in the cardinal and gold, she tallied 89 minutes on the court, scoring 22 points and tallying 14 rebounds.
