Iowa State’s 2021 men’s basketball recruiting class officially has its second member.

The Cyclones landed a commitment from Flint, Mich. combo guard Jayden Nunn on Thursday. He joins four-star Wisconsin point guard Tyrese Hunter as prep stars set to join Steve Prohm’s program next year.

Nunn, who is finishing his senior year of high school playing for Dream City Christian in Arizona, is not rated by any of the major recruiting services. He chose Iowa State over offers from Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH), Siena, UTEP and Western Michigan.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound prospect picked up his ISU offer in November. It was his first Division I scholarship offer.

Nunn is averaging 18.7 points while shooting almost 63 percent from the field and 43 percent from deep through nine games for the Eagles, who currently hold a 6-3 record.
