Arizona kicker Brayden Narveson has committed to Iowa State, according to his Twitter. Narveson is rated as the No. 8 kicker in the 2018 class by Chris Sailer Kicking and is a five-star prospect by the same service.

The Desert Mountain High School product is the top ranked kicker in the state of Arizona. Narveson kicks and punts for Desert Mountain and connected on a 51-yard field goal during his junior season.

His long punt of the season was 76-yards.

“Brayden is a big time kicking talent,” Sailer wrote on his site. ” An outstanding athlete with one of the strongest legs in his class. Field goals are excellent off the ground. He is smooth and accurate. His kickoffs are a strength, college ready. He drives the ball well with big hang time time. Also developing into a top punter. I like his size and athleticism for this position. A competitor that does very well under pressure. He improves at a great rate each time that we see him. A fine young man that is always a pleasure to work with. Look for Brayden to dominate this off season and turn the heads of college coaches. Fantastic prospect.”

Narveson is Iowa State’s second commit in the class joining Wisconsin defensive end Will McDonald. Stay tuned to Cyclone Fanatic for more on this story.
