With over two weeks remaining until the 2025 class’s early signing day, Iowa State has earned its third commitment to the 2026 class.
Kaprice Keith, an ATH prospect from Nebraska, made the news official over his social media channels Monday.

Iowa State was the first program to offer Keith, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect that plays both wide receiver and strong safety at Bellevue West High School in Nebraska.
The Cyclones first offered Keith early as a sophomore, extending their offer in August of 2023.
“I feel like it was being ten toes down with the school,” Keith said. “They told me that they know offers were going to come and that I’m a great athlete. Just talking to them, they’re real honest and straightforward with me, so I feel like that’s where I want to be at. They took a risk on me when I was young, so I thought I should take a risk on committing this early.”
Keith is rated as the No. 2 prospect out of Nebraska, and had interest from Kansas State, Kansas, USC and Nebraska before committing to Iowa State without any other outside offers.
Keith is also the younger cousin to former Cyclone and current New York Jets running back Breece Hall.
Although, Hall told him to go through the recruiting process naturally, and never swayed him into choosing Iowa State.
“He was the first one to find out, and he was wondering when I was going to post it,” Keith said. “He has never been biased – he told me to have fun with the recruiting process. He knows it’s a thing and he knows this sport, but he was excited that I’d be going to Iowa State.”
Keith joins Colorado offensive lineman Mason Bandhauer and Minnesota offensive lineman Ethan Beckman as the early commitments to the 2026 class in Ames.
Iowa State’s staff plans on evaluating Keith further over the coming years before either party chooses a position for the young athlete.
“They told me they can find me whenever and to come down there and we’ll figure it out,” Keith said.
Until then, Keith is just happy to make his choice official.
“I feel blessed, if anything,” Keith said. “I feel like God put me in the right positions for this stuff – I’ve been working hard since I was little for things like this, to get school paid for. I love football and I’m really excited to be able to go to Iowa State.”
