Saturday night at Jack Trice Stadium was unforgettable. A heart-pounding, electric atmosphere filled the air.
With just 30 seconds left, Rocco Becht raced into the end zone, sealing the Cyclones’ victory and making the team 7-0 for the first time since 1938. The final score, 38-35, will undoubtedly haunt the Central Florida, who came so close to upsetting one of the top teams in the conference.
It wasn’t the prettiest win but it was a satisfying win. It was a win we’ll look back on or a long time. Relive the magic from start to finish in the gallery below.
