Iowa State moves into top 10 in AP Poll, ranked No. 9 after 6-0 start

Iowa State moved into the top 10 following its 28-16 win over West Virginia in a 6-0 start to the season.

The Cyclones are ranked No. 9 in the newest Associated Press top 25 poll, released on Monday.

Matt Campbell’s team is the highest ranked in the Big 12, with BYU at No. 13 and No. 17 Kansas State coming in behind it. This is the third-straight week the Cyclones have spent as the highest ranked Big 12 team in the league.

This is also the first time Iowa State was ranked in the top 10 since the 2021 season.
