As the spring practice period continues in Ames, Iowa State has seen a slew of prospects in Ames to attend practices and come on recruiting visits.

Over the weekend, the program hosted 2025 safety Trey Glasper on a multi-day visit.

“We had a welcome presentation with coach Campbell,” Glasper said. “He kind of just went in to depth about what it’s like to be there play there, why people are constantly showing all of their support around the school and Ames, and kind of things like why it’s great to be down there.”

Glasper is rated as the No. 7 prospect out out of Nevada, and holds offers to Miami, Cal, Washington State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Northern Arizona, and Portland State.

Iowa State is right in the mix for the 6-foot-1, 170-pound defensive back.

“As of right now, (Iowa State is) in my top three,” Glasper said. “Iowa State has been one of the top three schools in my recruitment so far. I’m excited and thankful that I was able to get down there, see the campus, watch a practice and everything. And I definitely plan on going back down there in the summer for an official visit.”

Iowa State sees Glasper at the free safety position and looks to pursue the prospect for a June visit this summer.

“It was only it was me and three other recruits who did the overnight thing,” Glasper said. “I feel like the visit was was more personalized in a way.”

“I got to meet coach (Deon Broomfield) and sit down with him,” Glasper said. “He said my my skillset best fits their free safety position. So he was just showing me clips in-game and in practice, how they play and different coverages and stuff. It was great to be able to see that, like actually where he envisions me and how it works – I got a little more knowledgeable in that aspect, so yeah, it was just great to be able to get down there and see that.”
