Former Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy has been placed in concussion protocols, per a report from Adam Schefter.

Purdy played in this week’s Monday Night Football game against the Minnesota Vikings, where he threw his first multi-interception game of his NFL career.

The 49ers, who are 5-2 through seven games, will face Cincinnati on Sunday (3:25 p.m. CT, CBS) prior to its bye week.
