Cyclones in the NFL: Breece Hall shows out in Jets loss, Montgomery makes plays

Welcome to week 1 of our Cyclones in the NFL tracker. Below you can see how each of the former Iowa State stars performed this week in the big league:

Breece Hall showed out for the Jets in his debut game with the team, rushing for 23 yards on six rushes in a 9-24 loss to Baltimore.

However, Hall’s impact came through the air, where he was target 10 times through the game by quarterback Joe Flacco. He finished with 38 receiving yards.

David Montgomery didn’t have anything come easy to him this week on the field conditions he saw at Soldier Field.

The former Cyclone still made his plays, however, in his team’s season opening win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

Montgomery finished the game with three receptions for a total of 24 yards and 26 yards on the ground in the victory.

Kene Nwangwu returned one kickoff for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in their win over Green Bay, collecting 25 yards on his only return attempt of the game.

Jake Hummel was active for the Los Angeles Rams during week 1 action, earning one tackle in the team’s 10-31 loss to Buffalo.
