Iowa State women’s basketball commit Audi Crooks picked up a pair of high school track & field championships this week at Drake Stadium.

The Algona junior captured a 1A shot put championship Thursday and then earned the class title with this discus throw on Friday:

It will excite Cyclone fans to learn of the strength of the incoming post player, who will join the roster for the 2023-24 season as freshman.

Until then, Crooks will have a year to develop her game and attempt to make the jump from high school to college sports as formidable as possible.
