Four Cyclones and legendary robes to return

Kevin Dresser announced that a total of four Cyclones will return and use their extra year of eligibility after COVID-19 ended the 2019-20 season.

Dresser will return three of his starters: Ian Parker (141), Jarrett Degen (149) and Sam Colbray (184) .

Heavyweight Ethan Anderson will also make his return.

Here is a breakdown of the returners:

Ian Parker – 141-pounder

  • All-American
  • 2020 Big 12 Champion
  • Three-Time NCAA Qualifier
  • Two-Time Big 12 Wrestler of the Week

Jarrett Degen – 149-pounder

  • Two-Time All-American
  • Four-Time NCAA Qualifier
  • 2020 Third place finish at the Big 12 Championships

Degen was unfortunately out most of the 2021 season due to injury.

Sam Colbray – 184-pounds

  • All-American
  • Three-Time NCAA Qualifier
  • 2020 Fourth place finish at the Big 12 Championship

Dresser also announced that they will be bringing back the legendary wrestling robes for the 2021-22 season.
