We’ve got another answer in regards to the 2021 Iowa State football roster.

Defensive end JaQuan Bailey, Iowa State’s career sack leader, is going pro. Bailey announced the news on Sunday via Twitter. Bailey was a senior, but like all student-athletes in 2020, had the option to come back for another season if he wanted to due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bailey ended his Cyclone career with 25 sacks in primarily for seasons of action. He suffered a season-ending injury in 2019 four games in. Prior to that, Bailey had started in 37 consecutive games.

Bailey was recently named First Team All-Big 12 for the 2020 season.
