BASKETBALL LATEST:

*** Combo guard Mario McKinney Jr. (St. Louis, Mo.) released a top 7 via Snapchat last Tuesday.  The Cyclones made the list along with Auburn, Missouri, Kansas State, Louisville, Oklahoma State and VCU.  ISU offered the long time priority on March 15th.

*** Iowa State handed out four new offers for the class of 2020 last week.  Point guard Reece Beekman (Baton Rouge, La.),  point guard Desmond Polk (New Berlin, Wisc.), small forward Cam’Ron Fletcher (St. Louis, Mo.), and power forward Jamari Sibley (Milwaukee, Wisc.) all received offers on Tuesday.

*** Also in the class of 2020, power forward Xavier Foster (Oskaloosa, Iowa) will visit the Cyclones and Hawkeyes sometime between August 17th and 23rd, according to Matthew Bain of the Des Moines Register.

FOOTBALL LATEST:

*** In-state offensive tackle Tyler Miller (Jefferson, Iowa) will visit Ames for the season opener against South Dakota State according to Allen Trieu of 247 Sports.  This will be at least his fourth visit since Iowa State and South Dakota State became his first offers on the same day back in March.  Miller has since received offers from Cincinnati, Nebraska, Purdue and UCF.
