Two week update this week.

THE LATEST:

*** 2018 Rice graduate transfer J.T. Ibe  will take his third and final official visit to South Carolina this weekend. He has also visited Iowa State and Indiana, and will make his decision soon between the three schools.

*** Iowa State basketball handed out their first offer since January on Friday to small forward Issa Muhammad from Atlanta, Ga.  Muhammad also holds offers from Charlotte and Georgia Tech.

*** The Cyclone staff handed out a second offer today to shooting guard Dekeyvan Tandy of Hopkinsville, KY.  They have watched him play multiple times and he visited Ames on Dec. 1.  Tandy holds offers from Cincinnati, Florida, New Mexico St., Oklahoma, Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

*** New football offers (Feb. 23 – Mar. 1) included: OG Chayse Todd (Crosby, Texas), RB Tyler Goodson (Suwanee, Ga.), RB Travis Tisdale (Valdosta, Ga.), WDE Colt Ellison (Aledo, Texas), ILB David Gbenda (Katy, Texas), DT Noa Ngalu (Menlo Park, Calif.), CB Kamren Fabiculanan (Thousand Oaks, Calif.), and ATH Levi Williams (Valrico, Fla).

*** New football offers this past week included OG Conrad Rowley (Blue Springs, Mo.), OG Zach Carpenter (Cincinnati, Ohio), OT J.D. Duplain (Strongsville, Ohio), OT Jarrod Hufford (Newark, Ohio), TE Brett Seither (No Profile – Clearwater, Fla. 6’5″ 228lb.), WR/CB Charles Ward (No Profile – Sarasota, Fla. 6’0″ 180lb.), WR Khyheem Waleed (Queen Creek, Ariz.), DT Kennedy Roberts (Clearwater, Fla.), OLB Omari Fiffer (Jacksonville, Fla.), OLB Kaden Johnson (Minneapolis, Minn.) and CB Keithan Gooden Jr. (Calabasas, Fla).

*** Former Cyclone and current Indianapolis Colts linebacker Jeremiah George helped out on the recruiting trail with some interaction with fellow Clearwater, Fla., native Kennedy Roberts.

*** In-state offensive lineman Noah Fenske committed to Iowa.  Iowa State had not offered, but he visited the last weekend of February for Junior Day.

HIGH INTEREST:

*** OT J.J. Guedet has a top three of Minnesota, Illinois and Iowa State following his Ames visit this past weekend for Junior Day.  The visit was Guedet’s first to Ames after the staff extended an offer on January 29th.  His other P5 offers include Boston College, Duke, Iowa and Louisville.

*** RB Jirehl Brock was in town for the third time this weekend.  Iowa State’s competition includes Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota for the 9th ranked running back in the 2019 class.  Brock holds offers from his top 4 as well as Indiana, Michigan St., Mizzou and Cinci.  Read Jared’s story on his visit here.

*** WR Fabian McCray made his first trip to Ames after a mid-January offer from the Cyclones.  Toledo and Illinois are the main competition for the prospect from Chicago, IL.

*** WR Marcus Washington released a top 10 via Twitter on Wednesday including Alabama, FSU, ISU, Mizzou, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, PSU, USC, and Texas.

*** WDE Ruke Orhorhoro mentioned Iowa, Iowa State, Penn State, Mizzou, and Notre Dame as the schools contacting him the most.  He is planning a visit in the near future to ISU.

*** SDE Moses Okpala named ISU, Illinois, Minnesota, Mizzou, and Nebraska as the schools he has contact with the most.

*** CB Joseph Thompson, a teammate of McCray, was also in town for Junior Day this past weekend following a February 8th offer.  Thompson’s top schools are Illinois, Toledo, and Northern Illinois.

*** ATH Taj Dodson out of Fairburn, GA, has a top 5 of Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland and Ole Miss.  The Cyclones offered mid-January and he has yet to visit.
