RECRUITING: Bobby Lawrence flips commitment to Mizzou

A few weeks ago, Iowa State was the first Power-5 school to show interest in St. Joe, Mo. offensive lineman Bobby Lawrence, when he flipped his Illinois State (FCS) commitment to the Cyclones.

Shortly after, Lawrence began receiving heavy interest from other P-5 suitors, notably receiving offers from Missouri and Nebraska.

Matt Campbell made a last minute trip to Missouri last week to get confirmation would sign with Iowa State on Wednesday.

On Monday afternoon, Lawrence officially flipped to Missouri.

It definitely would have been nice for Iowa State to add Lawrence to this class, but it is hardly a class-breaker. The Cyclones have already signed four offensive linemen to the 2018 class. Lawrence, however, would have been a nice cherry on top.
