It has been over a decade since an Iowa State football team was ranked in the AP Top-25. The Cyclones were ranked 22nd in 2005 to be exact.

The Cyclones aren’t ranked this week but are “receiving votes” in the new AP and USA Today Top 25’s.

Four Big 12 schools are ranked this week with TCU being the highest at No. 6. Oklahoma fell to No. 12, Oklahoma State at No. 14 and Texas Tech at 24 respectively.
