Simeon Carter is transferring. Iowa State issued a press release on Tuesday afternoon making the announcement.

Carter, a sophomore post out of North Carolina, played 2.3 minutes per game and averaged 1.0 points per game last Eason.

“I met with Simeon following the season and he informed me of his desire to transfer,” Prohm said in the release. “We wish him the best and will assist him in any way we can as he looks for a new school.”

Iowa State now has four known scholarships open for the spring recruiting period.
