Line: Iowa State by 2

Chris Williams: I just don’t have a good feeling about this game. Combine Vanderbilt’s style and roster and you get a bad matchup for the good guys. I hate the placement of this game in the season. I hate the fact that Iowa State is going to play in one of the oddest gyms in college basketball. Iowa State is better than Vandy, but the better team doesn’t always win. The pick: Vanderbilt 68, Iowa State 65

Jared Stansbury: Vanderbilt enters this game below .500 but this is still a team that definitely scares me. I think they’re a tough matchup for the Cyclones, especially on the road. The Commodores have an unorthodox home-court and the setup can take a bit of an adjustment. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Iowa State start slow on Saturday before finding a groove during the second half. The pick: Iowa State 73, Vanderbilt 70
