The following is a press release courtesy of Iowa State athletics communications. Plan your tailgates accordingly.

AMES, Iowa – Due to heavy rain in the Ames area Thursday night, all general public grass lots will be closed for Saturday’s (Sept. 24) Iowa State football game vs. San Jose State. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.

Fans are encouraged to park on central campus or in nearby paved lots. CyRide will be running additional routes for fans parking on or near campus.

Portions of the G-7 grass parking lot that is reserved for Cyclone Club donors will be available. Once all available and suitable areas of G-7 are full, donors with a G-7 parking pass will be redirected to Hilton Coliseum lots B-1 and B-2, or the parking lots around the Veterinary Medicine College along South 16th Street.
