AMES — Iowa State wide receiver Jauan Wesley was arrested for OWI early this morning, according to online court records. It was his first offense.
Wesley, a freshman, started one game and played in ten for the Cyclones, who finished 2-10 last season.
He totaled 10 catches for 107 yards and has been suspended indefinitely by ISU coach Paul Rhoads.
"We are aware of the charges filed against Jauan and we are disappointed," Rhoads said in a statement. "Jauan has been suspended indefinitely from the football team under the student-athlete code of conduct policy."
