Iowa State received its third in-state football commitment for the class of 2015 on Saturday night in the form of Seth Nerness, who Rivals.com lists as a 6-foot-3, 224-pound athlete out of Murray. He is projected to be a defensive end at the next level.

Nerness chose Iowa State over additional offers from Kansas State and Western Illinois. He joins Bryce Meeker (offensive lineman out of Cedar Rapids Prairie) and Anthony Nelson (defensive end out of Waukee) as the third Iowan to make a pledge toward the Cyclones in the last two weeks.
