Here at CycloneFanatic.com, we don’t need excuses to sit back and remember Troy Davis’ amazing career,
BUT, since voting for the 2014 class of the College Football Hall of Fame will take place today (and Davis’ name is on the ballot), I thought it would be appropriate to share this awesome video that Cyclones.tv recently produced remembering ole No. 28’s career in Ames.
For those who need a refresher course, Davis’ resume looks like this: Two-time Heisman Trophy finalist…Two-time First Team All-American…First player in NCAA history to run for more than 2,000 yards in two seasons…1996 Big 12 Player of the Year…
Not bad.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the above video and the commentary from a guy who has forgotten more about Iowa State than I will ever know, Tom Kroeschell.
UPDATE: Davis was not inducted to the Hall of Fame today as he did not receive enough votes.
