Former Cyclone Chris Babb just inked a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics. Babb, who played for Iowa State from 2011-13, has averaged 12.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game this season for the Main Red Claws in the NBA’s Development League.
Meanwhile one of Babb’s close friends, former Cyclone Royce White, is reportedly close to signing a 10-day deal with the Sacramento Kings. White was released by the 76ers during the NBA’s preseason after being traded from Houston over the summer.
