AMES, Iowa – Iowa State head men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg announced today the promotion of Charlie Henry to Director of Player Development.
Henry was in charge of all video editing as a graduate assistant in 2012-13, helping the Cyclones make their second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
A 2009 graduate of Madonna University (Mich.), Henry worked as a graduate manager at Utah (2010-11) and was a member of the Indiana Pacers staff (2011-12) prior to his arrival in Ames.
“Charlie is very talented and his video editing knowledge has been beneficial for our program,” Hoiberg said. “He will continue to do a lot video work and we will expand his job duties as well. We are excited to be able to keep him on our staff.”
