AMES — It’s now official. Former Iowa State point guard Diante Garrett has realized his dream of playing in the NBA. Garrett signed a contract wtih the Phoenix Suns on Monday morning.
Garrett spent last season playing overseas in France and Croatia. He played Summer League ball with the Suns and averaged 4.6 points and 2.6 assists per game.
