Add a junior college running back to Iowa State’s recruiting class of 2013.

That man is Aaron Wimberly, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound runner out of Iowa Western Community College. Wimberly originally hails from South Gwinnett, Georgia. He was a JUCO All-American last year while rushing for 887 yards and 10 touchdowns.

According to Wimberly’s profile at Rivals.com, he also had an offer from Troy. However, according to a tweet published by Ames Tribune Sports Editor Bobby La Gesse, Wimberly “chose Iowa State over Boise St., Iowa and South Florida.”
