According to Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook editor Mark Miller, Onalaska (Wisc.) shooting guard Matt Thomas has narrowed his list down to two schools, Iowa State and Virginia.
Thomas, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound 2013 prospect, eliminated Wisconsin from the running. Thomas unofficially visited Iowa State late last week.
Virginia is coached by Tony Bennett, a Wisconsin native who played for Wisconsin-Green Bay in the late 80’s and early 90’s.
According to sources, Thomas could make his decision sometime this week. In other words, stay tuned to CycloneFanatic.com for the latest on this story.
