Iowa State currently has one basketball scholarship open for the 2012-13 season.

Where will it go? According to Adam Zagoria from ZagsBlog.com, Virginia Tech transfer Dorian Finney-Smith will visit Iowa State on June 7-9. CycloneFanatic.com has confirmed this report through a source with knowledge of the situation.

Finney-Smith made the ACC’s All Freshman team last season while averaging 6.3 points and 7 rebounds a game.

Finney-Smith, a 6-foot-9 forward is reportedly considering: Iowa State, Florida, Ohio State, Louisville, Texas, Marquette and Georgetown as potential college destinations.

As of now, Iowa State is his only scheduled visit.
