Iowa State added bulk to its already impressive crew of linebackers for the 2012 season on Friday.

According to CycloneReport.com, Eddie Porter, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound inside linebacker out of Blinn C.C. switched his commitment from Texas A&M to Iowa State. Porter made this decision based off of the fact that Texas A&M fired its former head coach Mike Sherman on Thursday evening.

According to his profile at Rivals.com, Porter has offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, California, Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Washington State.
