Well that didn’t take long.
On Monday night, former Utah Ute Will Clyburn toldCycloneFanatic.com that it was down to Iowa State and Utah. On Tuesday morning, Clyburn made his decision.
“I just want to build a better relationship with Coach (Fred) Hoiberg on my visit. I’ve pretty much known that Iowa State is where I want to be,” Clyburn said. “It is a great spot for me. I’ve gone ahead and made the decision that being off a year and then playing at Iowa State will make me a better ball player”
Clyburn, a 6-foot-7, 200-pound wing averaged 17.1 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a junior at Utah. Both of those statistics placed him third individually in the Mountain West Conference. Clyburn played junior college ball for two seasons at Marshalltown Community College.
