Calvin Godfrey suspended for three games

A little bit of news broke during Fred Hoiberg’s Monday press conference. Hoiberg led off the media session by announcing that freshman Calvin Godfrey has been suspended for three games for violating team rules.

"He will be eligible to come back on Feb. 16 (at Texas A&M)," said Hoiberg, who would not further comment on the matter.

Godfrey is averaging 4.1 points and 4.7 rebounds this season. He started the second game of his career on Saturday agains Oklahoma and recorded five points with five rebounds.
