A prospect that doesn’t go by the name Sam Richardson has committed to Iowa State’s football program.

"I committed to Iowa State this morning," Iowa Falls Alden defensive end Devin Lemke told CycloneFanatic.com on Wednesday night. "I have been a Cyclone fan my whole life, me and my family."

At this time, Iowa State was his only offer, though Lemke was receiving serious interest from the University of Iowa.

Lemke recorded 85 tackles during his junior season. Ten of those were for a loss. Iowa State defensive tackles coach Shane Burnham was Lemke’s primary recruiter.

“I can call him up and have a great conversation. He’s a good coach," Lemke said about Burnham.
