Saturday…2:30 p.m. Oklahoma State @ Iowa State…
Let’s think about this for a minute.
A top 25 football team will invade Jack Trice Stadium.
It’s a chance for the North to knock off the South.
The game is going to be televised on ABC.
The Cyclones are one game away from bowl eligibility for the first time since 2005.
For a team with a new coach who is trying to turn a program around, let me ask this question?
Is this not one of the biggest games in Iowa State football history?
I’m not trying to toss out a bunch of hyperbole here this morning…but think about it. This is a huge football game.
Oklahoma State is coming off of an embarrassing loss. Cowboy fans are calling for their quarterback’s head. Their running back is hurt. Their star wide receiver got disqualified from competition for hanging out with Neon Deion Prime Time Sanders.
Vegas saw the writing on the wall by only making Oklahoma State a 7.5-point favorite heading into the game.
Cyclone fans need to pack the Jack on Saturday. The boys could use a 12th man. They need a 12th man.
Do I need to write it again?
This is a big one.
