I found some guitar / piano lessons on YouTube and I want to save to my harddrive, with no URL link, so I can keep it in case they get deleted on YouTube.

When I go to Save File, the menu lists it as a Web ARchive.MHT file with encoding Unicode UTH-8. Is this the best format to save on harddrive??

Can I burn them to a CD / DVD to keep for future reference? Never done this before

Thanks

Yeah you can't save them directly.

If you're using firefox and greasemonkey, there is a s cript that will let you download the .flv. I have no idea where to begin with IE.

Youtube made it very difficult to download videos, manly because of the lawsuit issue. If they allowed everyone to download videos without checking every video before it goes online it could get messy. There are however programs that allow you to do just that, probably start with a google search and go from there.

Thanks, this looks good enough to try for free; and for $25 it can't hurt if it works.
If you pay 25 bucks to download videos from youtube, you're throwing 25 bucks out the window.
