Oh I see- this is a contest to see who has the most sophisticated palette. That being said, I'm surprised no one has listed Busch Light 10x yet.

I'm a simple man with simple tastes:

Miller High Life
Heineken
PBR (I was drinking it long before it was cool)
New Glarus Spotted Cow
Sam Adams Oktoberfest
Old Milwaukee
312
Millstream Iowa Pale Ale
Stella Artois
Dos Equis

I'm going to list a top 5 because I'm guilty in the past of not trying much new stuff - but that is starting to change. Especially with using the untappd app. Really helps pick out wish list items and things to try.
BeerAdvocate has an app now, as well. I have a list of 100+ "Wants", and when I go to the store, it's so easy to just pull up my list on the app and see what I can find.

Just tried Lone Tree Brewing Company for the first time two weeks ago...top to bottom, one of the best all-around breweries out there that can appeal to many different tastes. I love their Ariadne as well.

All time? Too hard. Here are my top ten right now:

1 - Avery Maharaja Imperial IPA
2 - Lone Tree Brewing Company Mountain Mama Helles
3 - Peace Tree Rye Porter
4 - Dad & Dude's Dank IPA
5 - Coor's Banquet
6 - Boulder Beer Hazed & Infused Dry Hopped Ale
7 - High Hops Brewery's The Power of Zeus American Pale Ale
8 - Avery Ellie's Brown Ale
9 - Left Hand Good Juju ginger ale
10 - PBR

My palette isn't sophisticated at all, but after trying a few good craft beers, its hard to go back to the basics. I used to love Michelob Lite and Miller Lite. Now they taste like water to me and I don't enjoy drinking them at all.

I don't have my full list handy, but a few of my favorites are:
  • Odell 90 Shilling Ale
  • Odell Isolation Ale
  • Lagunitas A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale
  • Boulevard Tank 7
  • Great Divide Old Ruffian Barley Wine

I don't drink much beer or know anything about it, but when I do buy some I just figure the beer with the most ridiculous name must be the best.

I'll have to try that. I've never been real happy with any of the beer apps.

I don't want to tweets my favs to my BFF's. I just want an app to track what I've had, what I thought of it, and what I'd like to try.

So far my Google Drive Spreadsheet has been the best for that :twitcy:

Funny...I've been using an Excel Spreadsheet. I need to convert it to Google Drive so it is mobile. The BA app is great, but I also like to have it consolidated in my own personal spreadsheet. That's the Iowa State engineer nerd shining through.

Some friends just brought back some of that Lunch from a wedding they had in Maine.....it's great.

I've found you pretty much can't go wrong with anything Maine Beer Co makes. Unfortunately, it's impossible to get if you aren't in the Northeast... which sucks for me in Phoenix.

I can't keep them straight either, except for the ones I have tried and liked, then I remember those. The BA website has been tremendously helpful. A friend introduced me to 90 Shilling, which I loved, so I used BA to identify other top beers in that same style: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/style/68/ (although 90 Shilling should really be in the Amber Ale category, not Scottish Ale).

I guess I don't drink much, or at all actually, at home. And I enjoy going to the local craft brew houses when I do go out. So pretty local, or something that recently liked, but may not have regularly - and not in much of an order

1) Confluence Thomas Beck Black IPA
2) 515 Dart Dodger
3) Peace Tree Hop Wrangler - (these are probably in order)
4) Bell's Two hearted
5) Crow Peak 11th Hour IPA
6) Fargo Brewing Wood-Chipper
7) UberBrew HumulusRidiculous
8) Bozeman Brewery Hopzone

Heading the Clear Lake and then up to TG tonight/tomorrow. Been a while for TG - looking forward to it.

Anyone know of any craft beer houses around Lanesboro, MN? SE Minnesota?
