Where is Greg Hester. We used to sit in the balcony and yell for him to go into the game. Did it once when it was quiet and he looked back and gave us a thumbs up. Yep we were those guys.

I don't think the younger members of CF realize how good Hornacek was in college.

Tinsley was dynamite. I would probably have to start him over Hornacek in the purest point-guard sense. But:

A: JT had the advantage of a more talented starting unit on two extremely good teams.

B: I saw Hornacek do some things that were mind-boggling. Most memorable (and I wish someone had a video clip because it's hard to describe) a no-look sideways pass from half-court while he was closely guarded tightly to a streaking Grayer for a contested dunk. Yes, Grayer gets partial credit for that play, but to me it's the ISU basketball equivalent of The Run.

Hornacek could also quash an opponent's 3-on-1 break by himself. Multiple times.
