I put down grass seed last week and it hasn't rained since and isn't supposed to rain in the foreseeable future. You're welcome.

Wish you would have put your grass seed down in June instead.

Me too. ended up having to pull the hose out (had cobwebs on it from not using it all summer) to water the seed in.

You can thank me for the last two Cyclone wins. I have started putting down "insurance bets" on the Cyclone opponents. It has paid off since I started doing it despite the hits to my credit total.

Then again, maybe this is just superstition and I didn't have anything to do with it.

Speaking of yards...is it OK to mow a lawn a bit shorter now since it is October?

Ha, I reseeded an area a couple days before we had that stretch of rain the other week and it's come in very nicely. Although now I am having to water it a little to maintain the good growth coming in but I couldn't have lucked into better timing when I seeded it.

I can practically guarantee an early snowstorm if I don't get my snowblower ready to go one of these days.

I was going to add that to my OP. I'm thinking about buying a new snowblower this year and that would guarantee a record low snowfall this winter:)

And here I thought it was because I haven't washed my car lately. Can we split the credit?
