That's too bad. He flashed some potential. Seeing him improve throughout the year would have definitely made the rest of this season bearable.

Is it me, or does this feel like Wigginton part 2?

Tired of this crap. Don't want to publicly bail. Use an injury to get off the radar.

yeah he is getting fake surgery by a fake doctor on a fake injury he got in high school. Now say that to yourself and see if it makes any sense.

Get well X. Hopefully be back stronger next year

Foot injury means heavy upper body workouts. Would be good to add some strength while he recovers.

It never really seemed like a good idea to try and "manage" a foot injury on a big guy. Take care of it and get it healed fully.
I have been hoping they would go this route. Does neither the team or him any good to play injured. Get it fixed and heal and then go to work on your game.
